AutoPrint FAQ

The questions customers ask before getting started. For a closer look, read our guides and comparisons.

What if I don’t love it?
We reprint it or refund it, your choice, within 30 days of delivery. No return label, no forms. Changed your mind on size? Order the new one and we credit the old. Arrived damaged? Send a photo of the piece and the packaging within 14 days and a reprint goes out.
What do I actually type?
Anything. Describe the picture, then the thing it goes on: “a watercolor of a fox in snow, as a fridge magnet”. If you don’t mention a format, we default to wall art, and you can switch to any of our formats before you order.
Can I use my own image instead?
Yes. Attach a photo or artwork in the same box. We’ll match the format from your words and print your image as-is. We’ll warn you if it’s too low-resolution for the size you pick.
Is the print really going to look like the preview?
The preview uses the real dimensions and options of each product. Colors on screens vary a little; the lab prints to a calibrated standard, so what arrives is faithful to what you saw, not identical to your screen.
Is the image high enough resolution to print big?
Paintings come out of the studio at about 1500 px on the long side: crisp on mugs, magnets, tiles, apparel and small prints, softer in fine detail on the largest wall pieces. For your own uploads we show a dpi estimate for the size you choose. A gallery wrap takes 1½ in at each edge for the fold; the studio preview shows exactly where.
Who owns the artwork?
You do. Anything generated from your brief is yours to print again, share, or sell. We don’t reuse your images or briefs to train anything.
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the United States, for now. Shipping is priced at checkout for your address and the delivery speed you choose; it is the carrier's real rate, not a flat fee.
What is AutoPrint?
AutoPrint connects an image idea or upload with a physical product. Describe the picture and format, inspect the studio preview, then choose whether to order.
Can I make a city-map print?
Yes. The Cities catalog offers listed places with streets, terrain, population, building-height and city-growth designs.
How do I choose between canvas and a framed print?
Choose canvas for texture and wrapped sides, or a framed paper print for a flatter picture inside a defined border. Review the same image at the size you plan to order.
Can I make a mug, magnet or puzzle?
Yes. Choose from the active product catalog and inspect the available options for the selected item.
Can I print a T-shirt or tote bag?
Yes. Check the available product, size and color options, then inspect the artwork against the selected fabric.
Can I bring artwork from another image tool?
Yes. Use the upload path for artwork you have permission to print. Review its resolution and crop on the selected product.
Will a small image stay sharp on a large print?
A larger print spreads the same pixels over more inches. Use the original file and check the studio’s resolution estimate after selecting the size and crop.
Does the preview show a delivered product?
The studio shows a digital product preview. Use it to inspect the artwork, format and selected options before ordering.
